As Vice President of Operations, Scott Baxter oversees operations and new business development opportunities for Baptist Ambulance, including 9-1-1 and IFT ambulance services across the company’s three operating states: Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

Baxter has more than 28 years of experience in the EMS and healthcare field. Before serving as the company’s Vice President of Operations, he was the Director of Operations for Baptist Ambulance in its West Tennessee and Mississippi markets. Prior to joining the Baptist Ambulance team, he served as the EMS Chief and CEO of Nature Coast EMS in Lecanto, Florida. His leadership led to the creation of an organizational culture that significantly increased employee retention rates. Additionally, Baxter holds a Master of Science in Emergency Management degree from Walden University, Master of Arts in Organizational Management degree from Ashford University and has a certification as an Ambulance Service Manager.
