John Brophy, VPO for Baptist Ambulance, Earns Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership
The Priority Ambulance Family of Companies is pleased to announce that Vice President of Operations John Brophy has successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University in Chicago.
Before joining the Priority Ambulance Family of Companies as Vice President of Operations for Baptist Ambulance, John held EMS leadership positions in administration, operations, and communications, including Director of Corporate Responsibility at Mobile Medical Response, Market General Manager at Rural/Metro, and Communications Manager at Jersey City Medical Center. John is also a site reviewer and team leader for the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) and a Fellow of the American College of Paramedic Executives (FACPE). His emergency services experience also includes many years in the fire service as a firefighter, fire officer, and fire service instructor. He also served our country at home and abroad as a US Navy Corpsman.

In addition to successfully defending his Ph.D. dissertation, John holds a master’s degree in health sciences specializing in Emergency Medical Services Leadership from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in leadership from Bellevue University.
