Scott Baxter Named Vice President of Operations for Baptist Ambulance
Baptist Ambulance is pleased to announce that Scott Baxter has been promoted to Vice President of Operations.
In his new role, Scott will oversee operations and new business development opportunities for Baptist Ambulance, including 9-1-1 and IFT ambulance services across the company’s three operating states: Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
“Scott has been a vital part of our Baptist Ambulance family for more than two years. He has tremendous leadership experience, and we are excited to see his continued growth with the company as he ventures into this next part of his career at Baptist Ambulance,” said Tony Anteau, Mid-States Regional President.
Scott brings to his new role more than 28 years of experience in the EMS and healthcare field. His journey includes serving as the Director of Operations for Baptist Ambulance in its West Tennessee and Mississippi market and as the EMS Chief and CEO of Nature Coast EMS in Lecanto, Florida. His leadership led to the creation of an organizational culture that significantly increased employee retention rates.
Scott holds a Master of Science in Emergency Management degree from Walden University, Master of Arts in Organizational Management degree from Ashford University and has a certification as an Ambulance Service Manager.
